But I’ve noticed something that gets UX designers ahead.
Helping them outrun the competition and get great jobs. How?
By loving what they do.
Loving your work makes you:
→ Create more outputs
→ Feel better while working
→ Energized to achieve more
→ Motivated to explore new things
Everything you do becomes better when you love your work.
But how do I find the work I love?
To find the work you love, you’ll have to:
→ Identify environments you thrive in
→ Find topics that spark your curiosity
→ See salary as a bonus, not a means to an end.
Slowly you’ll uncover more of the things you love.
Something you can start doing more of.
5 things that helped me find what I love doing
1. Ask relatives about things that used to make you happy
2. Take a walk through the streets you used to play
3. List all the things you know you love(d) doing
4. Reading about topics that spark my interest
5. Constantly experiment with new activities
Finding the thing you love doing makes you thrive in your career.
UX enables us to work in any industry.
So keep on exploring while you’re creating.
Note the things you love and do more of them!
